Fashion For the Cure

With October as Breast Cancer Awareness month, I attended the kick-off event - 8th annual DVF Fashion for the Cure 2009 charity event at Smashbox Studios in Los Angeles. Beautiful Diane Von Furstenburg runway show featured several women who were breast cancer survivors - of course, they received a standing ovation. The event brought major awareness to the Susan G. Komen foundation and raised several thousand dollars through the live auction. Enjoyed the event with my friend and founder of 360 magazine, www.the360mag.com., Vaughn Lowery, aka Joe Boxer.
