I had a wonderful time during my show at the Beverly Hills Luxe Hotel this week. Enjoying visiting with Lindsay Albanese, wardrobe stylist for Access Hollywood dressing Maria Menounos, Nancy O'Dell and a host of other Hollywood personalities. Also enjoyed meeting stylist Sam Russell and Nickelus Faulkner of Dolce and Gabbana and stylist for Lady Gaga. He choose pieces that he is sure she will love! Looking forward to another trunk show in December - at my studio in Santa Monica.

Vintage Valentino at Downtown LA Fashion Week

A great evening at the MOCA, Geffen Museum of Contemporary Art, in downtown LA as a wrap for this weeks fashion events. Had a wonderful time with many of LA's fashion elite including Louis Barajas, the founder of the international fashion magazine, Flaunt. The new issues has a topless Naomi Campbell, distributed for exclusive markets.

Jerrell Scott Show at Downtown LA Fashion Week

I had a great design challenge by Project Runway alumnae, Jerrell Scott for his show at Downtown LA Fashion Week. He asked me to design a collection of vintage couture rings with an organic look in greens, golds and silvers for his Spring 2010 Collection. They were a hit! Lisa Raye loved the long-stemmed flower piece in autumn tones.

FGI Designers and their Muses

As a "kick-off" event for Downtown LA Fashion Week, FGI (Fashion Group International) hosted an awesome event, Designers and their Muses. The evening was held on the rooftop of the Standard Hotel in downtown LA. The event brought out such fashion luminaries such as the great John Galanos and Randoph Duke, who designed for Halton in his younger years. Their were many alumnae from the Lifetime television hit series Project Runway such as Nick Verros and this seasons(6) star Gordana Gehlhausen. Of course LA's well-known Lloyd Klein was there with his muse Kathy Ireland as well as Trina Turk and Elizabeth Mason.

Cure in the Canyon, Four Seasons Hotel, LA

Another important event for breast cancer awareness this month of October. Held at the Four Season Hotel in Westlake Village, just outside of LA, the event was beautifully executed by Peake PR Group of Santa Monica.
